It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Hewett (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on December 2, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shifflett and Nellie Woodson; her brother Charles Hunt; and her husband Ertel Hewett (Buddy). She is survived by: her children, Tina Adkins (Lionel), Chopper Showers (Lisa) and Cody Showers (Christina); her grandchildren, Lucas, Erica, Noah Adkins, Shana Woods, Logan Showers, Jessica, Keyana Sonifrank, Elyssa, Des, Tanee, Bryceton, Cameron and Dae; her great grandchildren, Aubriella, Atlas and Atreus; and her friends, Bonnie Wagner and Donna Harrelson.
