He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lamphear and Nellie Lamphear (Merkle); his brother Gerald Lamphear; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Daniels Lamphear, Gloria Terpening Lamphear and Marvin Michel.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Modderman Lamphear; his children, Mark Lamphear, Tim Lamphear (Daniel), Joy Foricer (Paul) and Allison Davis (Brad); his grandchildren, Cherylyn, Markus, Eva, Mia Lamphear, Christina, Michael Lory and Serena Davis; and his siblings, Richard Lamphear (NC), Leon Lampher (MI), Jean Lamphear Michel (MI) and Judy Lamphear Craig (FL).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to the Bible printing ministry of the Franklin Road Baptist Church.
