It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lilia Sarmiento (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), who passed away on February 27, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rafael Fernandez and Isabelina Plazas Fernandez; her children, Alba Coppola (Jim) of Murfreesboro, Clara Sarmiento of New York, Daniel Sarmiento (Sheila) of Lafayette, George Sarmiento (Teresa) of Ohio and John Sarmiento (Mary) of Hendersonville; and her brother Pedro Frenandez (Olga) of Florida. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
