She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Lee Gowen, Sr. and Evangeline Willie Davis Gowen; and her brothers, Jesse Lee Gowen, Jr. of Murfreesboro and Robert H. Gowen of Birmingham, Alabama.. She is survived by : her brother Bill Gowen of Atlanta; her daughter Leeann Abernathy Bailey of Nashville; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Jones of Murfreesboro and Jason Friton of Ashland City. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
