He was predeceased by: his parent Shirley Dockery Brewer; and his sister Sherry Carlene Brewer Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Diane Vaughn Brewer; his sons, Matthew (Chris), Zachary (Megan) and John Braxton; his granddaughter Callie of Murfreesboro, TN.; his father Carl Brewer (Marilyn) of Murfreesboro, TN; and his siblings, Terry Brewer (Cynthia) of Woodbury, TN and Kitty Waggoner (Steve) of Pendleton, SC. He is also survived by his wife, farming with his dad and sons, golfing with friends.
