She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frank Gordon and Maggie Sadie Rogers Gordon; her husband James "Jim" Jernigan; her children, Timmy, Kerry Jernigan, Nancy Violet Jernigan and Lisa Lane Jernigan; and her brother James Edwin Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Jernigan (Vicky) of Bradyville, Terry Jernigan of Murfreesboro and Shanelle Jernigan Golden of Murfreesboro; and her grandchildren, Frank Jernigan, Luke Jernigan, Jacqueline Roberts, Tiffany Grandy, Kenny Jernigan, Daniel Jernigan, Jake Jernigan, Brycin Golden and Brandyn Golden. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
