She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Marshall and Mable Lee Marshall; and her grandson Redgie Brian Gentry. She is survived by: her sons, Redgie Gentry (Patricia) and Randy Gentry (Cheryl); her siblings, Bonnie Lucius, John R. Whiteman (Charlotte) and Charles Whiteman; and her grandchildren, Daniel Gentry (Amanda), Jennifer Demonbren (Jason), Ashley York, Kellie Gentry and Jerry Heath (Brandy). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

In lieu of customary floral tributes, the family asks that donations be made to the Woodmont Baptist Church Food Pantry in Nashville, Tennessee.
