She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Thomas Emerson and Katherine Jennings Simpkins; her husband Richard William Garman; her children, Patricia Lynn Garman, John Jennings Garman, Richard William Garman, Jr. (Patricia) and David Emerson Garman (Deborah) of Murfreesboro, TN; her children-in-law, Gregory (Suanne) and Rhonda Mayse Garman of Columbia, TN; her siblings, Thomas Emerson Simpkins, Jr. (Marguerite), Kay Simpkins Duncan (Donald) of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Anne Simpkins Goad (Jerry) of Brentwood, TN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Garman Rowlett (Jason), Rebecca Jean Garman, William Baird Garman (Brittany), Ashley Garman Cook (Michael), Ryan Richard Au (Megan), Katherine Garman Morgaman (Justin) and Benton Andrew; and her great grandchildren, Madison Taylor Morgaman, Autumn Leigh Rowlett, Amelia Reagan Morgaman, Bryson Miles Au, Lily Grace Morgaman, Emerson Anne Killion, Elise Jennings Killion, Harper Lynn Cook and Preston Garman Au.
