He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Edwards and Tennie Byrd Edwards; and his wife Cleo Edwards. He is survived by: his sons, David Edwards (Vickie) of Murfreesboro, Barry Edwards (Beth) of Murfreesboro, Steve Edwards (Esther) of Charlotte, TN and Gary Edwards (Michelle) of Jonesboro, AR; and his grandchildren, Martha Marie Pippen (William), Preston Edwards, Paige Kelley (Rob), Justin Edwards (Lyschel), Rebekah Reeves (James), Charity Crouch (Ian), Lydia Edwards, Hannah Edwards, Sarah Hoover (James), Kathryn Dewberry (Dillon), Laura Edwards, William Edwards, Grace Edwards, Hayden Edwards and Cacie Edwards. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Edwards's memory to the Benevolence Committee at Stones River Manor.
