He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter Earl Garman, Jr., Neal Garman and Betty Garman Reese; and his children, Patricia Lynn Garman Au and John Jennings Garman.
He is survived by: his parents, Walter Earl and Ruth Marie Noll Garman; his wife Patricia Simpkins Garman (Pat); his son Richard William Garman, Jr.; his children-in-law, Gregory Au (Suanne) of Melbourne Beach, FL and Rhonda Mayse Garman of Columbia, TN.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Garman Rowlett (Jason), Rebecca Jean Garman, William Baird Garman (Brittany), Ashley Garman Cook (Michael), Ryan Richard Au (Megan), Katherine Garman Morgaman (Justin), Benton Andrew Au and Katherine Garman Killion (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Madison Taylor Morgaman, Autumn Leigh Rowlett, Amelia Reagan Morgaman, Bryson Miles Au and Lily Grace Morgaman. He is also survived by Father and Grandfather.
