He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hopson and Nellie Hopson; and his brother Thomas Edward Hopson. He is survived by: his son Collier Hopson; his sister Betty Joe Dulaney (William); and his sister-in-law Juanita F. Hopson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
