He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Hargett and Margaret Faller Coombs; his daughter-in-law Tammy Coombs; and his sister Margaret Ferrell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hall Coombs; his children, James Daniel Coombs of Huntsville, AL, Thomas Edward Coombs of Hendersonville, TN and Mary Beth White (Lance) of Murfreesboro, TN; his sister Betty Campbell of Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren, Justin Coombs (Megan), Emma Grace White and Ian White; and his great grandchild Hayden Coombs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Samaritan's Purse, Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro, or the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Coombs.
