He is survived by: his wife Deborah Clawson Mims; his daughters, Julie Stover Allen of Laurinburg, NC, Charity Mims of Winder, GA, Faith Mims of Provo, UT, Hope Mims of Murfreesboro, TN and Patience Myers of Winder, GA; his brother Mims, Jr of Laurinburg, NC; and his grandchildren, Dylan Hill, Destiny, Serenity, Trinity Houseknecht, Pierce, Gavin Baillargeon and Honor Myers.
