He was predeceased by: his parents, Al Ray Geary and Mildred Duperriu Geary; and his siblings, Alan Geary and Judith Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Norma Thompson Geary; his children, Scott William Geary (Doris) and Ronda Mathes (Paul); and his grandson Zachary Gorz (Amelia).
