He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Clark and Emma Clark; his husband Joe Willie James; and his sisters, Ada Mary Garrett, Emma Sue Roper, Mattie Laura Crouse and Bessie Lou Bowling.
He is survived by: his children, Henry James Goodrich, Jr. (Vannessa) of Dallas, TX, Kenneth Lee Goodrich (Donna) of Huntsville, AL and Sheila Goodrich of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Henry James Goodrich, III (Trae), Abdul Selah Antron Peebles, Daquita Joane, Daryl K. Mitchell, Jr., William Dejuan Goodrich, Kenneth Lee Goodrich, Jr., Elijah Shaddai Goodrich, Mekelah Sherith Goodrich and A'Jhana Sabrie Johnson; his uncle Donald Myles of Fort Wayne, IN; and his cousin Roberta Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
