He is survived by: his parent Dorothy "Dot" Marlin Nelson; his siblings, Steve Nelson (Sally) of Murfreesboro, Linda Woods (Bob) of Murfreesboro and Jay Nelson (Nancy) of Murfreesboro; his nephews, Laws Nelson of Nashville and Carter Pinkston; and his niece Denise Jones of Longmont, Colorado.
