She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Backus and Ardeth Norene Howard Dunker. She is survived by: her husband Ray C. Upleger; her sons, Michael Upleger (Grace) of Franklin, TN and Gary Upleger (Debra) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Robert Upleger (Emilee), Bret Upleger, Amanda Upleger and Troy Upleger (Christina); her great grandchildren, Paisley, Casey, Wynnefred and Byron; her brother William Backus (Hazel); and her pet Abby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
