He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Hughes and Margaret E. Keen Hughes; and his brother Robert K. Hughes. He is survived by: his significant other Monica D. Kowalski of Murfreesboro, TN; his children, Christopher Troy Hughes (Lori) of Columbia, TN and Amy Ruth Pratt of Kentucky; his brother Edward R. "Butch" Hughes (Jean) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Faith Marie Hughes, Michael Tyler Hughes, Emma Ramsey Pratt and Jackson Pratt; and also, Jennifer Belleza and Christi Long.
Memorials may be made to Williamson Medical Center Children's Hospital or American Lung Association.
