He is survived by: his children, David Swain (Beth) of Murfreesboro and Lucy Trenkle (David) of Murfreesboro; his stepson John Schmidt (Teresa) of Christiana, TN; his grandchildren, Shea Swain of Murfreesboro, Scott Swain (Dominique) of Lascassas, TN, Max Trenkle of Nashville, TN and Mimi Trenkle of Austin, TX; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Memphis Swain of Murfreesboro, River and Caselynn Swain of Lascassas; his sister-in-law Betty Dunaway; his nieces, Sandra Kagan of Huntsville, AL. and Candice Dunaway (Phil Williams) of Huntsville, AL.; and his wife Dorothy Schmidt Swain.
