She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Lee Caldwell; and her parents, Ernest Melton and Guy Rogers Melton. She is survived by : her siblings, Lily Frances Hipkins of Murfreesboro and Ernest Melton of Michigan; her nephew Mark Hipkins (Sheril) of Murfreesboro; and her niece Paula Szymanski (Michael) of Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to G.R.O.W. (God Restoring Our Women) at Salem United Methodist Church.
