He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Powell James and Rodney Joel James; his siblings, Pattie Edwards, Lois May James, Sandra Brello (Steve), Brenda Lowe (Jim) and Johnny Michael James (Susan); and his nieces and nephews, Laura Godfrey (Chris), Alanna Bobo (Jeff) and Matthew Lowe.
