He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wiley Jernigan and Leola Argo Jernigan; his wife Willodean "Dean" Ramsey Jernigan; his children, Jeffery Clark Jernigan and LaDonna Barnes (Wayne); his brothers, Dion Jernigan (Connie) of Washington and Kenneth Jernigan (Laura) of Florida; his grandchildren, Joshua Caldwell (David), Sean Barnes (Kara), Chad Jernigan (Amanda) and Kyle Jernigan; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kamden Barnes, Briley, Braylon Jernigan, Brayden and Cooper Payne. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
