He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Wells Carl and Margaret Cecilia Carl. He is survived by : his wife Audrey "Jan" Carl; his children, Ginger Brown, William "Billy" Carl, Jr. (Flo), James Woodard (Sandy) and Vernon Woodard (Cindy); and his friend Robert Montgomery. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
