He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Potts Pewitt; his children, William Anthony Pewitt and Lisa Kermick (Gerry); his grandchildren, Tabitha Pewitt Taylor, Miranda Pewitt, Ellen Kermick, Meagan Kermick and Matthew Kermick; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Taylor, Joshua Taylor and Roselynn Kermick; and his sister Ruth "Tootsie" Griggs.
