He is survived by: his wife Doris Hale Hancock; his children, William George Hancock Jr. (Chrissy), Barry Joseph Hancock (Catherine) and Amanda 'Mandy Schmidt (Stu); his siblings, Paul Pierce Hancock and Janyce Townley; his grandchildren, B. J., Julia, Zackary, Christina, William and Tripp; and his great grandchildren, Jayven, Kade and Millie.
