He was predeceased by : his parents, Rufus Lewis Grasty and Mary Elizabeth Blane Grasty (Sarah Elizabeth Kennedy); and his brother Lewis Blane Grasty. He is survived by : his children, William Grasty, Jr. (Betty) of Texas, Sally Kesterson (Tommy) of Paris, TN, Christopher Grasty (Kim) of Kentucky, Mary Thompson (Jeff) of Kentucky, Kennedy Holloway (Amanda) of Murfreesboro, Paxton Holloway (Amanda) of Murfreesboro, Garrett Holloway (Ashley) of Murfreesboro and Nelson Holloway of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Nicolas, Zachary Grasty of Texas, Lauren Wilkins (John) of McKenzie, Jordan Doggett (Josh) of Kentucky, Taylor Thompson, Riley Thompson of Kentucky, John Thomas Holloway, Hayden, Oliva Barkley, Knox, Elijah Holloway and Davis Holloway; his great grandchildren, Claire, Hadley, Millie Jane, Albany Grace, Tytan, Luke, Piper and Shirley Halliday Grasty of Kentucky; and his sister Cynthia Crane of Georgia.
