With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Angela Renee Cleggett (Nashville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025 at the age of 64. She is survived by: her sisters, Michelle Ann Cleggett and Deborah Cleggett-Brown; her nephew Peter A. Cleggett, Jr.; her sister-in-law Felicia M. Cleggett; her great-nephew Isaiah Zayne Cleggett; her uncles, Thomas Clay (Laura Clay) and Charles Cann, Sr.; her cousins, Charles Cann, Jr., Constance, Boston Robertson, Karen, Azubuike Mbanefo, Dr. Jacqueline Cleggett-Howard, Seno Cleggett, Lucy Berry-Johnson and Jonathan Holland; and also, Adrianna Pickstock and Kortnea Young.
Viewing was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highland Hills Funeral Home & Crematory (2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207). Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood North Cemetery (1248 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072).
