She is survived by: her children, Valerie Byrns, Jim Jordan Byrns, Tammie McKinnon, Derrick Carter, Byron Byrns and Tonya Byrns; her grandchildren, Quaneshia Morgan, Derrick Carter Jr. and Jazzia McClain; her great grandchildren, Draya Lewis, Zuriq Vanlier and Zoey King; and her siblings, Beverly Cooperwood, Michael Cooperwood and Larry White.
