He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harry, Yvonne Donley (Billie), George and Arlene Goodell; his father Ronald Craig Donley; and his granddaughters, Elyssa and Ella Donley.

He is survived by: his wife GiGi Gentry Donley; his children, Adam Michael Donley (Emily), Kaitlin Riane Turner (Josh) and Robert Craig Donley (Brooke); his grandchildren, Amberly Rose Donley, Kamdyn Doris Donley, Evan Christopher Schultz, Emma Grace Donley and Ethan Robert Donley; and his siblings, Richard Donley (Rick) and Janet Lynn Donley Rich. He is also survived by his family, friends.
