She is survived by: her children, Alvin Denel of Washington and Cheryl D. -Pillar of Washington; her granddaughter Cynthia "Diamond" M. -Hughlett (Anthony) of Washington; her great grandchildren, Lamaria Ezell, Amethyst Hughlett and Carmelo Hardin; her sister Gladys Nelson; and her brother-in-law James Thomas (Jo Ann) of Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
