She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Turner Neal, Sr. and Nannie Robertson Neal; her husband Robert E. "Bob" Smith; and her siblings, Virginia Neal Lampman and Charles Turner Neal, Jr..
She is survived by: her sisters, Nancy Neal Jones and Josephine Neal Gross; her stepdaughters, Cynthia Ursery and Kim Maxwell; and her siblings' children, William "Hank" Jones, Jr., Robert N. Gross, B. J. Davenport and Sandra Bingham. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, extended family.
The family requests that those in attendance to remember to maintain social distancing and wear a facial covering.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Forest Hills Baptist Church or the charity of your choice in honor of Doris.
