Though Gertrude may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gertrude touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Washington Guerriero of Italian de and Wylma Patrick Guerriero of Irish; her husband Don Deville Magruder; and her sons, Mark Magruder (Katy) of Fort Worth and Michael Magruder (Jana) of Nashville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of True's life and legacy.
