He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. John Richard Lodge and Sarah Virginia Lodge (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Tyler Lodge (Gina); his children, Sarah Lodge Tally (Trey) and Richard Matthew Lodge (Rachael); his grandchildren, Virginia Frances Tally, Earl Burton Tally IV (E. B.), John Richard Lodge, III (Jack) and Josephine Bright Lodge; and his siblings, Henry Lodge (Donna), Sarah Lodge and David Lodge (Andrea). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, Dick would be honored to be remembered at Abe's Garden Community, The Center for Contemplative Justice (CCJ), or Christ Church Cathedral.
