He was predeceased by: his wife Lynne April DeGraw of Nashville, TN; his parents, Mary DeGraw of South Fallsburg, NY and Russell DeGraw of South Fallsburg, NY; and his brother Russell "Pete" DeGraw. He is survived by: his children, Neeka DeGraw, Joseph DeGraw and Gavin DeGraw; and his grandchildren, Anahlea, Eden Jaccarino and Cameron Jaccarino. He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.
