She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Mitchell and Harry Mitchell; her stepparents, Dorothy Mitchell and Warren McConnell; and her siblings, Thomas Mitchell, Carol Russell, Joan Diekmann and Cheryl Phillips.
She is survived by: her son David; her grandson Douglas; her husband Jack Schenkel; her siblings, Larry Mitchell, Howard McConnell and Vala Wood; her son Dennis Schenkel; her grandchildren, Luke and AnnaClaire; her great grandchild Douglas Schenkel (Dawn); Grayson and Greer. She is also survived by brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
