With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn M Scott of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on August 27, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Mathis and Clara C. Mathis; her husband Kenneth; and her brothers, Charles, Richard, Robert, Cecil, Lamar and Grady Euvon.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Scott of Murfreesboro and Shannon Arrington (Doug) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Brenda Arrington of Murfreesboro and Noah Arrington of San Diego; and her sister Carolyn Crittenden of Athens. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery - Chapel Mausoleum (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
