She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry M. Chaffin and Ruby Joan Warden Chaffin; and her husband John A Ramsey Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, John A Ramsey III (Sarah), Robert Chaffin Ramsey (Jean) and Laurence Perry Ramsey (Susan); her grandchildren, Meredith Ramsey Kalt (Andrew), Helen Ramsey Rominiecki (Ryan), John A Ramsey IV (Molly), Elizabeth Claire Ramsey Hines (late Mike), Mary Anne Ramsey Moore (Trey), Garrett Chaffin Ramsey (Laura), Scott Laurence Ramsey (Alyssa) and Clayton George Ramsey (Anne Peyton); and her sister Susan Reed (Mary Barcomb). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
