With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Hughes (Nashville, Tennessee), born in Sardis, Tennessee, who passed away on May 14, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Holland VanDyke and Murry Faye VanDyke. She is survived by: her husband Walter Eugene Hughes; her son Vann H. Hughes; her granddaughters, Vanessa Hughes and Erika Hughes; and her great grandchildren, Holland, Catherine, Gabriella Harris and Henry Farmer.

They attended until the coronavirus and health issues prevented attendance.
