With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Christine Wilkins (Nashville, Tennessee), born in Hickman, Tennessee, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Gene Wilkins; and her daughter Cheryl Hooten. She is survived by : her daughter Christy Botts (Charles); her grandchildren, Jacob Botts, Cadye Hooten and Dylan Hooten; her great grandchildren, Kayle Anglin, Samantha Anglin, Chloe Alwine and Isaac Botts; her sister Betty Sue Bates; and her son-in-law Steve Hooten. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Inglewood Baptist Church (3901 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cremation Center (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221).
