He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Ester Mundy and Raymond D Mundy Sr.; his wife Helen Faye Mundy; and his grandchild Lee Mundy. He is survived by: his children, Faye Lynn Vaughn (Richard), David Mundy (Vicki), Ray Mundy (Nancy) and Tommy Mundy (Barbie); and his grandchildren, Dana, Stephen, Michael, Keri Beth, Ray Jr., Katie and Brittany. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cremation Center (9090 TN-100, Nashville, TN 37221). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
