We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2021, at the age of 93, Robert D. Long of Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Long and Martha E. Long; and his siblings, Thelma Cron, Joseph Long, Gelene Long and Frances Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Decker Long; his children, Laurie Long of Nashville, TN, Karen Sturm (Tim) of Nashville, TN and Rob Long (Laura) of Memphis, TN; his granddaughters, Brandi Cravens (Robert), Laura Sturm, Sidney Long and Samantha Long; his great grandchildren, Kaylie Cravens and Mollie Cravens; and his brothers, Thomas E. Long, J. B. Long and Van Long.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nashville Rescue Mission, Second Harvest Food Bank or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
