It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shelby Dean Bowen of Nashville, Tennessee, born in Lebanon, Tennessee, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert V. Jackson and Margaret L. Warren Jackson; and her children, Deborah Sanchez and Danny Ray Bowen. She is survived by : her children, James Carol Bowen of Nashville, TN and Shirley Dean Sullivan of Nashville, TN; and her siblings, Wayne Jackson of Hartsville, TN, Barbara L. Parker (Bobby) of Springfield and Elaine Cranford (Tommy) of Springfield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 9th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 10th 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home (2619 US-41, Greenbrier, TN 37073). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 10th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
