He was predeceased by : his parents, J. C. Thompson and Vivian Lain Thompson; and his siblings, Raymond Leon Thompson and Peggy Owen. He is survived by : his wife Beverly Phillips Thompson of New Johnsonville, TN; his children, Frank Allen Thompson (Cindy) of South Carolina, Phillip Lain Thompson of New Johnsonville, TN, Tanya Lynne Kirsch (Perry) of Arizona and Georgia Anne Hannon (Mark) of Nashville, TN; his sisters, Elain Crewdson (Bob) of South Carolina and Donna McCauley (Evan) of Alabama; and his granddaughters, Alicia Hall (Matt), Staci Hayes (Jesse) and Karen Hayes. He is also survived by son 11 Great Grandchildren.
