He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, William Rockford Bateman and Ollie Elvington Bateman; his daughter Tracy Bateman Brasfield of New Johnsonville, TN.; his son-in-law Ricky Brasfield of New Johnsonville, TN.; his grandsons, Derrick Brasfield (Meaghan) and Matt Brasfield (Crystal) of New Johnsonville, TN.; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Wayne and Wyatt Brasfield; his sister Bonnie Bateman Whitfield (Doug) of Waverly, TN.; and his nieces, Missy Jewell, Christy Morris, Lisa Smith and Candye Doss.
