She was predeceased by : her former life partner Bob Hodge; her son Jeffery Hodge; and her father Thurman Sudduth. She is survived by : her mother Elizabeth Sudduth; her husband Ralph Johnson; her daughters, Jolene Borum (Ron), Jenny McCarter (Rob) and Jaime Elmore; and her brother Lamar Sudduth (Anne). She is also survived by several loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
