He was predeceased by : his wife Barbara Denton; his parents, Charles Denton and Alma Denton; and his siblings, Deloris, Haskell, Franklin "Gene", Wayne, Marjorie "Margie", Samuel "Sammy" and Shirley.

He is survived by : his children, William Denton (Sandy), Tony Denton, Angel Wright (Wesley), Joe Denton, Jonah Denton and Megan Sellars (Matt); his grandchildren, Will Denton (Adrian), Laura Fehrenbacher (Christian), LeeAnna Denton (Brandon), Brittany, Chelsey Collins, Austin Wright, Mason Wright, Ayden Lilley Avery and Benjamin Sellars; his great grandchildren, Willy, Waylon and Adalynn; his brother David Denton; and his cousins, Betty Elmore, Clarence Denton, Don Gideon, Roger and Mary Connor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
