He is survived by: his sister Dr. Lisa Sanford Howard (J. D.); his son Luke; his brother Dr. David G. Sanford (Amy); his children, George and Mira; his cousin Susan Tonkery; and his close friends, Don Royalty and Stanley Whitaker. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
