He was predeceased by: his wife Mary F. Short; his parents, William Short and Dorthy Short; and his siblings, Pauline Keller and Kenneth Short (David).
He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Short (Rachel Baker); and his siblings, Stanley H Short (June), Frank Short, Jerry Short (Betty), Bill Short (Margie), Bobby Short (Patsy), Charles Short (Michelle), Noble Short (Melissa), Peggy Jessie (Michael) and Della Greer (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and beloved friends.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Claiborne County Animal Shelter or Second Harvest Food Bank.
