He is survived by: his children, Tammy Goan (Tim) and Jeremy Sweet (Yun); his grandchildren, Khristin Grosjean (Chris), Kaitlin Collins (Ben), Jeremiah Sweet (Daryn), Kameron Goan, Eli Sweet, Kolton Goan and Ada Mei Sweet; his great grandchildren, Harper Goan, Slater Collins and Aiden Grosjean; his brothers, Jim Sweet (Betty Dean), Bud Sweet (Joyce) and Fred Sweet (Carolyn); his nephew Gary Sweet (Christine); and his brothers, Jim Hatfield, Joe Scruggs (Dottie), Michael Bo Griner, Scotty Brooks and Mitchell "Ham" Seals.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Tommy Bates Ministries, or Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, in honor of Jerry who donated to these three faithfully and proudly.
