He was predeceased by: his son Aaron Massengill; his father John Massengill; his brothers, Randy and Terry Massengill; his nephew Braxton Fannon; and his brothers-in-law, Earl Daniels and Jeff Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Gilbert Massengill; his mother Geneva Massengill; his siblings, Robbie Massengill (Angie), Joann Ford, Rita Daniels and Lisa Daniels (Jessie); and his children, Ashley Bolden, Heather Bolden (Nick), Shiloh Massengill (Brandon) and Matthew Fultz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Overholt Funeral Home Chapel (1106 TN-33, New Tazewell, TN 37825). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Cemetery.
